Sustainability

Regarding sustainability, we are doing what we can to look after our planet.

We like to buy the best quality ingredients we can find and we look for the best taste, texture and freshness. We use suppliers who have a good reputation, labour practices, duration of business experience and where possible organic practices and certifications.

We try to find suppliers as close to home as possible.

We are doing all we can to reduce the impact on the environment and we therefore choose amber glass because our vinegar likes to be in the dark and even though transport is a bit more costly than plastic, it’s easier and quicker to recycle. Glass can also be reused in the kitchen, bathroom etc.

We pack our product in boxes that are 70% quality recycled cardboard. All boxes are reusable, recyclable and degradable.

We protect the bottle during delivery by using natural crinkle cut shredded paper which is made from 80% recycled material and is 100% recyclable.

As we use Royal Mail, all liquids must be placed in a leak proof inner and outer bag and marked as fragile. Our inner bag is biodegradable and our outer bag is fully compostable. We also use brown paper fragile eco friendly 100% fully recyclable and biodegradable tape.

Our paper labels are plastic free and they peel off for recycling if soaked in warm water.

Supporting Bath Beekeepers

We will be giving to the Bath Bee Keepers Association 10p for every 480ml bottle and 5p for every 240ml bottle we sell.

Bath Beekeepers are a Branch of Avon Beekeepers Association (ABKA) – Registered Charity No 271717 They are affiliated with the BBKA (British Beekeeping Association and are an umbrella organisation for their network of five local beekeeping branches.

Their aim is to promote the craft of beekeeping to encourage new beekeepers to take up this noble vocation and support existing beekeepers in their pursuit of healthy, happy and productive bees!

At ABKA they work hard to raise the profile of beekeeping and support local beekeepers. The objective is to promote the craft of beekeeping and promote the importance of bees.

BBKA

Wherever possible all added ingredients are locally and responsibly sourced, meaning the flavour of each batch will reflect variations in the natural harvesting process. The root spices, citrus fruits and herbs have been blended to give these Plant Infused Apple Cider Vinegar products earthy, sweet and fiery twists, that not only add great flavour but a whole lot of natural goodness.

Why use Our live vinegar?

Our products are all based on Live Vinegar. They are an amazing blend of natural, raw ingredients infused into Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with ‘The Mother’. This naturally occurring sediment contains a profusion of enzymes, amino acids, minerals and vitamins.

What are the benefits?

We make our products by hand in the beautiful city of Bath in very small batches. It is lovingly infused for twelve weeks to give all the wonderful ingredients time to be absorbed into the vinegar. The end result is a pleasant and easy way to boost natural health processes and stimulate digestion as well as promoting good gut health.
